Main St. Provisions

$ $

The Arts District has undergone a restaurant-driven renaissance over the last few years. And very few establishments have pushed its evolution from bohemian enclave to dining destination as much as Main St. Provisions.

Some of Las Vegas’ most beloved chefs have helmed its kitchen during its short history, each leaving his mark on the menu. Most recently, California expat Adrian Garcia has brought his extensive restaurant experience to the executive chef position. But it’s owner Kim Owens (a native Cajun, and former executive at the Del Frico’s Double Eagle Steakhouse chain) who has maintained a single vision: a neighborhood restaurant where the menu is warm and welcoming, the staff knows all the regulars by name and even first-time guests feel at home. And it’s her feminine energy that informs the décor, supplied by local artists.

The ingredient-driven menu of upscale comfort foods changes with the seasons, based on what’s fresh and available. You’ll always find a nice selection of carefully sourced steaks. But it’s dishes like crudo, Navajo fry bread, risotto, and duck (along with a top-notch bar program) that make this restaurant so much fun.
