Writing for The List magazine, longtime Las Vegas food writer Al Mancini mused that "If Esther’s Kitchen is the welcoming heart of the Arts District’s exploding culinary scene, Main St. Provisions is its sexy libido: bold, playful, exciting and unpredictable."

The Arts District has undergone a renaissance in excellent dining in the last few years, and one of the crowning jewels is most definitely this brainchild of the accomplished Chef Justin Kingsley Hall. The menu at Main St. Provisions changes with the seasons, and to the availability of heritage meat, fruit and vegetables.

The menu ranges from decadent comfort food with a fine-dining twist, such as a "shrimp and grits" with Anson Mills corn and giant wild prawns, to creative presentations of exotic ingredients, like the New Zealand venison tartare with pickled salsify and fry bread. Of course, Chef Justin loves to give the option of adding a slice of seared foie gras to any dish (tip: if they have the bread pudding on the dessert menu, treat yourself and thank us later).
