Piero's Italian Cuisine

$ $ $

Close to The Strip, the Convention Center and Las Vegas’ brand-new Sphere, Piero's has endless charm and old-school swagger to match a lineup of stiff drinks and classic Italian-American dishes. It’s also a local landmark featured in countless films and TV shows over the years. (Ask your waiter to point out the booth where Sharon Stone sat in “Casino.”)

"There is nothing more Vegas than a night out at Piero’s," according to Melinda Sheckells, writer and editorial director for OTS Media. "Piero’s is where I have celebrated all of my Vegas milestones. It is the place where everyone knows my name -- and that kind of atmosphere is hard to come by anymore."

Sheckells singles out the Veal Parm, Vodka Pasta and the Spark Plug (a signature shot of vodka, espresso and Kahlua) as personal favorites. The restaurant is also known for its meatballs and a legendary osso bucco with fettuccine on the side. Piero's has a series of large, dimly lit dining rooms (including one dedicated to legendary UNLV coach Jerry Tarkanian), two bars and regular live music. Heads up: Parking is valet only.
