The Boss Cafe

$

Buddy Valastros' Las Vegas empire continues to grow, from the classic Italian-American dining of Buddy V's Ristorante and Carlo's Bakery at the Venetian to Pizzacake at Harrah's and a series of Cake Slice and Bake Xpress vending machines around town. Boss Cafe enjoys a nice spot in the middle ground: a casual eatery within The LINQ hotel that's a great lunch destination or a welcome detour while pub-hopping on the hotel's promenade in front of the High Roller wheel.

The daily-made, hand-pulled mozzarella is the star of the show, best enjoyed on its own with a choice of toppings and a small slice of bread. A tight, efficient menu is rounded out by loaded Jersey-style sandwiches, individual rectangular pizzas, and a lineup of breakfast items made with cage-free eggs until 11 a.m. And of course, there are plenty of baked goods from The Cake Boss. Choose between cookies, muffins, fruit tarts, cake slices or whatever looks good from a display case.

Even the coffee is served with a Northeast touch – no messing around with latte variations. Just get it black to balance out a sweet pastry.
