Located in The Venetian’s Restaurant Row, the Southern Table in the name is a not-so-subtle nod to Yardbird’s Southern-inspired fare. Menu highlights include Shrimp & Grits, Fried Green Tomato BLT, Sweet Tea Braised Short Rib, Chicken ‘n’ Watermelon ‘n’ Waffles and PB&J Banana Cream Pie. But if there’s a single signature dish that’s worth showing up for, it’s Lewellyn’s Fine Fried Chicken (named for the mastermind behind the recipe, Yardbird’s founder John Kunkel’s grandmother). Brined and seasoned for 27 hours, calling it tender would be an understatement.

Food blogger Phillip Tzeng (@LasVegasFill) says, “Comfort food isn't something that's frequently sought after when dining on The Strip, but Yardbird's fried chicken hits me so good every time. I like coming here with a group and sharing ‘The Whole Bird,’ which features honey hot sauce, chilled spiced watermelon, Vermont sharp cheddar cheese waffle, and bourbon maple syrup.”

The 12-page beverage book boasts an impressive selection of wine, more than 90 American whiskeys and a solid assortment of beers (with all 12 of the tap beers made in Nevada).
