Chickie's & Pete's

Perhaps the City of Brotherly Love’s best-known chain sports bar, Chickie’s and Pete’s now offers its signature Philly cheesesteaks and crab fries at locations nationwide -- many within sports stadiums and arenas. And for many Philadelphia expatriates, it’s the perfect taste of home on game days.

Local food writer Al Mancini, born and raised outside of Philly, says “I’ve watched hockey games at Chickie’s and Pete’s locations in several cities, and always have a great time.”

But you don’t need a connection to Philadelphia to enjoy the place.

“Who doesn't love classic Philly cheesesteaks, burgers, pizza, and plenty of seafood choices wrapped by 50 TV screens around the bar tuned to any game you want to see?” sports handicapper and sports gambling author Dalla asks rhetorically. “Chickie’s and Pete's has something for everybody. But the very best thing on the menu are the (blue, king, snow and Dungeness) crabs, the house specialty.”

Dalla’s also a fan of the betting windows inside the restaurant. And when Mancini isn’t watching a game here, he loves to people-watch the tourists on Las Vegas Boulevard through the large front windows.
